What is CrossFit?












CrossFit is the principle strength and conditioning program for any police academies and tactical operations teams, military, and hundreds of elite and professional athletes worldwide. CrossFit uses constantly varied, functional movements in a high intense way that delivers dramatic fitness results for athletes of all levels of skill and experience:


- Constantly Varied: You will rarely do the same workout twice. By doing something different every time you work out you keep the body guessing and eliminate plateaus and boredom that are common in traditional workout programs.

Functional Movements: Our goal is to prepare our athletes for life's obstacles. We do that by designing a program that mimics our lives: running, jumping, throwing, squatting, pulling, and pushing.

High Intensity: Performing vigorous exercise in a high intensity way is the most effective way to elicit positive changes in performance and body composition. We do this by timing most of our workouts and completing them as fast and as safely as possible.


CrossFit begins with a belief of fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness.  Fitness defined as work capacity across broad time and modal domains.  CrossFit is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. The same routines can be used for everyone. Load and intensity are scaled, but not the program.
